These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“Member,” “you,” or “your”) and the operating entity of the Compass applications and platforms (hereinafter referred to as the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By applying for, paying for, or using a membership or any of our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not apply for or use our services.
We operate a curated, membership-based wellness and professional networking club, which includes a privacy-first AI life coach. Services offered to our members include access to our AI coaching assistant, moderated community forums and discussion channels, regular workshops, virtual meetups, local in-person events, and opportunities for personalized coaching.
To provide intelligent, generative responses, the text prompts you input into our chat feature are processed by our third-party artificial intelligence partner, GoodAI. By using the AI chat, you acknowledge that your inputs are transmitted to GoodAI strictly for the purpose of generating conversational responses. We implement strict safeguards to ensure your data is secure and is not used to train public models.
Not Professional Advice: The AI-generated content provided through our services is for informational and coaching purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. Always seek qualified professionals for emergencies or serious life decisions.
Accuracy & Hallucinations: Artificial intelligence can occasionally produce inaccurate, fabricated, or inappropriate information. You are strictly responsible for verifying any critical information provided by the AI before acting upon it.
You are strictly prohibited from using our AI features to generate, request, or promote restricted or harmful content. This includes, but is not limited to: hate speech, harassment, defamation, sexually explicit material, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), deepfakes, deceptive content, or misinformation.
No Sensitive Data: You agree not to input sensitive personal information, such as protected health information, medical records, financial details, or highly sensitive personally identifiable information (PII), into the AI chat interface.
We provide built-in, in-app tools to flag harmful, inaccurate, or offensive AI-generated outputs. We actively monitor these reports to improve safety. We reserve the right to warn, suspend, or terminate the account of any Member who violates our Acceptable Use policy or generates restricted content, without eligibility for a refund.
Membership fee: A one-time membership fee as published on our site at the time of purchase. The Fee grants access for a 6-month term beginning on the date of payment.
Payments are processed by our payment partners. Applicable sales, VAT, GST or other taxes are the Member’s responsibility. If a payment is declined, we may suspend access and take reasonable collection actions.
Membership is by application. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application in our sole discretion. We may require identity verification (government-issued photo ID) for higher-value memberships. The services are available only to individuals who are at least 21 years of age.
You may request a refund within 14 days of payment, minus a non-refundable administrative/processing fee of USD $200. No refunds will be granted after 14 days. To request a refund, contact our support team through the official email provided within the app.
We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Services, site content, trademarks, logos, and proprietary systems. Members are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the materials during their Membership Term.
AI Content Ownership: While you are granted broad rights to utilize the text generated for you within the app, we make no guarantees or warranties that such AI-generated outputs do not infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights.
Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and share personal information. By joining, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy, including our data sharing with our third-party AI provider as outlined above.
Limitation of liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED 50% OF THE MOST RECENT 6-MONTH MEMBERSHIP FEE PAID BY YOU. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and costs arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your generation of restricted AI content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before initiating a formal claim, Members must first contact our support team to attempt informal resolution.
Acknowledgment: By applying for or paying for a membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
